About our Team
Chris, Lawyer
Chris Veeman is a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan. He practices immigration law in Saskatoon, and is a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law (2003). A former Federal Court of Canada law clerk to the Honourable Madam Justice Sandra J. Simpson, Chris has been practicing immigration law since 2003. He has been based in Saskatoon, his hometown, since 2004.
Chris has been invited to appear as witness on citizenship matters before the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration on several occasions (2008, 2014, 2016), and has represented clients in numerous high-profile refugee, immigration, and citizenship cases.

- Author of the Chapter on the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program in Carswell’s text Provincial Nominee Programs in Canadian Immigration Law
- Frequent presenter and media consultant on issues related to immigration and the law.

Linda, RCIC
Linda was born in China and worked for several immigration agencies before she immigrated to Canada. She has been with Veeman Law since 2016. Linda became a Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) in 2019 (Registration #R532785). Linda is fluent in Mandarin. Although she is competent to handle all kinds of Canadian immigration matters, her specialty is economic immigration programs such as the SINP (Entrepreneur, Skilled Worker) as well as federal economic immigration programs. She enjoys camping in Saskatchewan’s beautiful provincial and regional parks, and visiting new Canadian cities.

Denise, Paralegal
Denise was born in the United States and immigrated to Canada. She has been with Veeman Law since the firm began in 2011. She has varied experience in immigration and refugee application processing and is now focussed primarily on sponsorship applications. Her years of experience and commitment to our clients makes her a valuable member of our team. Denise loves taking care of others, which is why she takes great pride in the reunification of families and helping people begin a new life in Canada. When not working, Denise loves the outdoors and spending time with her husband and Golden Retrievers.

Emily, Administrative Assistant
Emily is an honours graduate of the Saskatoon Business College. While attending the SBC, she obtained her Executive Administrative Diploma. Additionally, she has managed a successful retail store for the past nine years. She is an artist in many mediums, some of which have been displayed at the Mendel Art Gallery. She and her husband are both avid back-country snowboarders and love to spend vacations in the Kootenay mountains with friends and family.

Paola
Paola is both one of the longest and newest members of Veeman Law. Having helped Chris set up Veeman Law in the beginning and working behind the scenes for many years, Paola officially joined Veeman Law in the fall of 2017. She hails from Lethbridge, Alberta and grew up in an Italian household - both parents are Italian immigrants. She speaks fluent Italian and in her spare time she loves to cook, craft, and spend time with her family, including the dog, Chepwa. Paola loves spending time outdoors and loves all of Saskatchewan’s seasons. Paola is also the proprietor of Beppi's Gelato (www.beppis.ca).
